when i was 8, my next door neighbor megan came over one night for a sleepover. i think she was 6 at the time, and in the middle of the night, she got scared and couldn't sleep. at 3 am, my mom walked her back home.
fast forward to tonight. i went to queens to study with michelle and sleep over at her house, but in the middle of the night i woke up and was unable to go back to sleep. unfortunately, since i don't live next door to her, i couldn't walk home. at 4 am, i climbed in my car and drove 45 minutes back to campus.
who knew that 17 years later i would have regressed to being a 6 year old.
on a side note, i think i need to swear off coffee for good.
